An adult man has been arrested by the RCMP Homicide Investigative Unit in connection to a suspicious death on Waterhen First Nation on Friday.
The victim, a 37-year-old man, was found injured in a home on Waterhen First Nation, and was later pronounced dead by EMS. He is not being identified publicly by police but his family has been notified of the death.
24-year old Skye Lasas has now been charged with second-degree murder in relation to the incident.
Lasas is scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court tomorrow at 9:30 am. Police are continuing to investigate.
