Environment Canada has extended a special weather statement for parts of southern Saskatchewan as a late season snowfall stretches from west-to-east in the province.
The national forecaster says 5 to 10 cm of snow is generally expected over most areas; however, a heavier band of 10 to 15 cm is expected through Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, and Regina.
The northern edge of the area impacted goes pretty much in a line across the province including Wilkie, Saskatoon, Martensville and Warman, Humboldt then across to the Manitoba border and extends into the entire southeast corner of the province.
