A 45-year-old man has been charged by the Regina Police Service following a hit and run in the 2200 block of Victoria Avenue.
Police responded to the collision yesterday (THURS) at 12:50 pm, where an investigation found that an adult female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. She was taken to hospital by EMS for what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.The driver briefly stopped before leaving the scene.
Officers found the suspect vehicle parked at a business in the 2200 block of Victoria Avenue and the driver was taken into custody at 1:47 pm.
Arvindkumar Chaudhari is charged with failure to stop after an incident resulting in bodily harm. He will appear in Regina Provincial Court on March 19th.
