The order of selection in Wednesday’s Bantam Draft is following up that way when it comes to drafted players signing W-H-L Standard Education Contracts with their respective teams.
The latest to do so is Dundurn product and Saskatoon Contacts’ forward Brayden Yager, the third overall choice back on Wednesday by Moose Jaw. First overall selection Connor Bedard signed Tuesday with Regina, a day before the Pats took the Vancouver-area forward first overall. Prince George made official yesterday that Yager’s Contacts’ team-mate Riley Heidt had signed. Heidt was the second overall pick on Wednesday and told Les Lazaruk that day that he had signed with the Cougars.
