After a seven year old girl in Regina was hospitalized on the weekend, the police investigation has led to Attempted Murder charges against a 24 year old man.
A taxi driver called police at 4:26 a.m. on Saturday morning after coming across a young girl, without shoes, jacket, or an adult nearby, bleeding from the head.
Police went to the home where the girl said she lived and came across a man officers say was trying to leave.
Regina Police also say that the accused, Greg Joshua Brittain, is not a stranger to the victim or the victim’s family and is alleged to be in violation of a court order prohibiting him from having contact with the people living in that home.
