Saskatoon City Services for Labour Day

This Labour Day the city of Saskatoon is reminding residents of some of the changes to civic services.

Garbage (Black Cart), Recycling (Blue Cart) and Organics (Green Cart) collections will go as scheduled, while the Landfill will be open from 7:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m.

The West Compost Depot will be open from 9:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. and the East Compost Depot will be open from 11:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

For public transit fixed-route and Access Transit will operate with Holiday Service Please check the routes and schedules on the transit website or or the real-time mobile app, Transit for details. or call Transit Customer Service. The public is reminded that masks are now required on public transit.

No payment is required today in city regulated pay parking spots, motorists are reminded that all other parking requirements are still in effect. Vehicles will not be released to the public from the municipal impound lot today.

The city of Saskatoon is also reminding residents of leisure activities going on in the city.

The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park is open until 4:30 p.m while the Zoo is open from 9am to 4 p.m.

The City’s three golf courses are open. Tee time bookings open daily at 6:00 a.m. Tee times may be booked online, by phone, or at the golf course. For more information visit saskatoon.ca/golf

George Ward Pool is closed for the season, while today will mark the final day of the season for Riversdale Pool and all City spray pads
