Another candidate has entered their name in for city council, this time for Ward 6.
Lee Kormish made the announcement Friday, saying he is a had working businessman who operates with efficiency and believes there is much to be desired for Saskatoon’s downtown.
Kormish was a recipient of the 2019 Tourism Saskatoon Leadership Award in the sports category for bringing the Toyota National Soccer Championships to Saskatoon.
Currently, Cythia Block is the Councillor for ward 6 which includes the Central Business District, Nutana, Varsity View, Grosvenor Park, Holliston, Haultain and Buena Vista.
The civic election is coming up November 9th.
