A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency and the Metis Nation-Saskatchewan as a way of working together to address Metis people’s experiences with cancer.
The agreement allows for a framework for the S-C-A and the M-N-S to create a Metis-specific cancer strategy…addressing health equity in the province and forming an important part of the M-N-S overall health and well-being strategy. The M-O-U is designed to improve outcomes for Metis people, from prevention through treatment.
