Moose Jaw Police have made an arrest after responding to a call where a man was reportedly refusing to wear a mask.
Police say on Friday at around 11:44 a.m. they responded to a local grocery store for a pandemic non-compliance complaint. Officers report a 59 year old man was asked to leave the store, as he was allegedly refusing to wear a mask. When police approached they allege an altercation ensued and the man had to be restrained and placed under arrest.
The 59 year-old man is now charged with assaulting a police officer, obstruction, causing a disturbance as well as ticketed under the Public Health Order.
