Royal Helium’s initial test results show elevated levels of helium concentration at its Climax project in southwest Saskatchewan, so the testing will continue.
That’s according to President and CEO, Andrew Davidson, who says they are pleased with the initial results and have now begun long-term production testing to confirm the flow rates and get a better idea of how much helium there is.
He expects that will take a month or so.
Royal Helium has over 400,000 hectares of prospective helium lands held under permits, leases and applications.
Davidson explains that helium is used primarily as an industrial coolant, and it’s single largest use is in healthcare for MRI machines.
