Ontario Police Officer Dies

A police officer in London Ontario has died. Police Chief Steve Williams made the announcement on Twitter on Wednesday. He says, “I am saddened to report that we lost a member of our service today.” He says, “We are offering full support to the officer’s family and loved ones, as well as our members.” The chief doesn’t give a cause of death or any information on the circumstances. He says further information will be released, if and when appropriate, subject to the wishes of the officer’s family.
