A 36-year-old woman from Leask was arrested by Saskatoon Police and faces numerous charges following an incident Wednesday, just northwest of the city’s downtown.

At 6:30 p.m. on May 26, patrol officers responded to a weapons call at the corner of Avenue B North and 27th Street West. Initially, the report indicated a female was seen with a gun during an altercation with others. The police arrested a female suspect nearby, without incident, and allege she was in possession of an imitation firearm, a knife and identity documents belonging to other people.

She has been charged with a number of firearms and weapons-related offences as well as possession of stolen property under five-thousand dollars and five counts of possession of identity documents relating to another person.
