By Les Lazaruk Jul 15, 2021 | 11:56 AM

The Saskatchewan Roughriders did something popular Thursday, saying that training camp sessions will be open to the public beginning on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Riders announced a couple of player signings before hitting the practice field for Day 6 of their C-F-L training camp in Regina. Joining the Green and White were Canadian running back David Savard and import wide receiver Jordan Suell. Following are the news releases from the Riders…..

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are excited to welcome fans back into Mosaic Stadium to observe Coors Light Training Camp!

Please keep the following in mind if you decide to attend training camp:

  • Entrance will be granted through Elevator Lobby 1 on the southwest side of the Stadium, closer to the railway tracks. Note: this is a different entrance than past seasons.
  • Fans will need to sign in at the entrance before entering Mosaic Stadium.
  • Fans will be required to sit in the west side stands in Sections 114-116. Please be respectful that some fans may wish to continue to social distance from others. Masks are optional.
  • Washrooms are available for public use on the west concourse, but water fountains are not currently functioning. Please bring your own water, especially on hot days.
  • In order to keep a safe distance from the players and adhere to the CFL’s COVID protocols, fans will not be permitted to sit in the first five rows closest to the field.
  • Unfortunately, at this time we ask that you keep your interactions with players and coaches to friendly waves from afar. Under current guidelines, they will not be able to accommodate autograph requests.
  • No cameras or recording devices are permitted.
  • Attendance will be capped at 500 fans.

Savard (6’1-215 lbs) joins the Riders after spending five collegiate seasons at the University of Sherbrooke.
