The Saskatoon Police Service says the Collision Analyst unit continues to investigate the fatal accident where a nine year old girl on a scooter died. The accident involved the young girl and a Ford pickup truck being driven by a 27 year old woman. It was last Thursday around 9 in the morning when police were called to the 600 block of 33rd Street West.
Police say collision investigations are highly specialized and involve a variety of investigative techniques including reconstruction, witness interviews and forensic lab testing. There is no timeline at this point for when a conclusion will be reached.
