Saskatoon Police say they were called out around 1 a.m. on Saturday morning to a night club in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue South after receiving a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived there were three people with stab wounds and two were transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries..
Police say a suspect was identified and located a short distance away and officers allege he discarded a loaded firearm when they approached. Police also seized cocaine, two cell phones, a large sum of cash and a knife.
A 24 year old man is facing two counts of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carry Concealed Weapon, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Proceeds of Crime, Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition.
