The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to call of an extinguished fire in the 1300 block of Avenue C Saturday morning.
Fire crews who arrived at the scene shortly after 10 a.m. say it appeared someone attempted to light a garage on fire using a “molotov cocktail” in the early morning hours.
The garage’s exterior cladding is non-combustible and the stucco exterior did not support the growth of the fire.
Damage is estimated at $100 dollars. Anyone with information about the attempted fire is asked to call the Saskatoon Police Service.
