Below average number of wildfires so far this year

There are 36 active wildfires in Saskatchewan, with ongoing assessment on 24 of them, three are contained, four in the far north are not contained, and for five of wildfires, the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency is protecting infrastructure in the area. There have been 207 wildfires so far this year, while the five year average is 225.
