Another major donation for the STARS Air Ambulance and the renewal of its fleet of aging aircraft.

Prairie Ford Dealers and Ford Motor Company of Canada made a combined $500,000 contribution to the non-profit air ambulance service.

The money is part of the Pegasus Project, a multi-year initiative led by several Saskatchewan business and community leaders, as well as car enthusiasts.

Project Pegasus has raised $3-million dollars for STAR’s new fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters. About one-third of that money came the auction of a 1968 Mustang which was featured at the world-famous Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona in January 2022. The winning bid was made by Prince Albert businessman Gord Broda—which was a world record for the sale of a 1968 Mustang.
