The Saskatchewan Health Authority has issued an advisory to Saskatchewan residents.
The SHA says it is aware of a phone scam with someone calling Saskatchewan residents, telling them that one of their close contacts has a confirmed case of monkeypox and then they are asked to press a number.
The SHA says do not press any numbers on your phone if you get a call like this, it is a scam. In addition, there is no known case of monkeypox in Saskatchewan.
