Saskatoon Police were called to the 1100 block of Idylwyld Drive North early Tuesday evening for a weapons complaint. Officers report that they found two victims who had been maced and stabbed. The victims said that several suspects were shouting at them as they got off a bus, and then they were bear sprayed and attacked with a knife. The suspects took off and police say a meat cleaver was found nearby.
A 36-year-old woman and 45-year-old man were taken to hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries. Anyone with information or video evidence is asked to contact the police, as the investigation continues.
