A 20-year-old man faces several weapons-related charges following his arrest by the Saskatoon Police Service which concluded an investigation by the Guns and Gangs Unit.
On Monday, police were informed that a man was in possession of a prohibited firearm near the 1500 block of 19th Street West. At about 2 p.m., members of the Guns and Gangs Unit located the 20-year-old suspect in the 1300 block of 20th Street West and arrested him without further incident. He was carrying a bag that contained a prohibited firearm.
