The Canadian Under-21 Women’s and Men’s Curling Championships continue today and run through tomorrow in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. Both the Women’s and Men’s field consist of 18 teams, split into two pools of nine teams each for preliminary round-robin play, followed by playoffs. In the women’s division, Saskatchewan is represented by the Elizabeth Kessel foursome from Regina.

On the men’s side, Saskatchewan had two teams taking part. One skipped by Logan Ede of Martensville, which finished the round-robin with 3 wins, 5 losses…tied for 5th place in Pool B. The second Saskatchewan quartet is skipped by Matthew Drewitz of Saskatoon-Nutana, which finished with 3 wins, 5 losses…tied for 5th place in Pool B. Both missed the playoffs which started yesterday at noon.
