Over 450 traffic offences caught by S-T-E-P in Saskatoon

A recent two-day Selective Traffic Enforcement Project (S-T-E-P) in Saskatoon resulted in 454 offences.

Of those, 187 were speeding tickets, 141 distracted driving tickets, 24 seatbelt tickets, 11 failures to stop at – either – a stop sign or red light, 38 vehicle equipment regulation tickets, six administrative roadside suspensions for cannabis and 47 other Traffic Safety Act offences. The S-T-E-P program is a collaborative effort of S-G-I and various Saskatchewan police services.
