Rush Make Trade, Sign Two Players, Ahead of New N-L-L Season

The Saskatchewan Rush made a trade and signed a pair of players ahead of the 2023-24 season.

The trade saw the Rush send transition player Cam Badour to Albany for a fourth round pick in the 2024 N-L-L Draft. Saskatchewan re-signed a pair of 2022 Draft picks in Jeremy Searle and Gabriel Procyk ahead of their November training camp. Searle spent most of last season on the Rush’s practice roster while Procyk has signed his first N-L-L contract after spending time at the University of Massachusetts. RUSH ACQUIRE 2024 4TH ROUND PICK

 

The Saskatchewan Rush have acquired a 2024 fourth-round pick from the Albany FireWolves for transition player Cam Badour.

Badour was drafted 49th overall in the 2022 Entry Draft and was placed on the holdout list for the 2022/2023 season.

 

 

PROCYK INKS FIRST NLL DEAL, SEARLE RETURNS

 

The Saskatchewan Rush have signed two more players ahead of November’s training camp.

 

First, GM Derek Keenan re-signed 2022 draft pick Jeremy Searle to a one-year contract. The Rush selected Jeremy 64th overall in the 2022 NLL Entry Draft. The Bolton, ON product spent the majority of last season on the Rush’s practice roster.

 

Then it was Gabriel Procyk inking his first NLL deal. Selected 80th overall in 2022, the Coquitlam, BC product was a standout at the University of Massachusetts and has put up 43 points in 25 Senior A games with the Maple Ridge Burrards.
