A 48-year-old man has been charged with second degree murder in connection to Regina’s 8th homicide of 2023.
Police were called to the 1900 block of Montreal Street shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Saturday. Initial information indicated there was an injured male lying outside a home. Police and EMS attended and located a man suffering from serious injuries. The victim, a 61-year-old man, was transported to hospital but succumbed to the injuries.
Roy Julius Dennis Sayer will make his first court appearance in Regina Provincial Court Monday morning.
