Prince Albert City Council will consider a property tax plan from Administration on Monday which includes a four per cent mill rate increase, a $3 snow management special tax increase to $75 and a $5 base tax increase to $45 for residential properties.

A house with $200,000 taxable value will see a property tax increase of 2.44 per cent or $7.15. For a $360,000 home, the increase is 2.45 per cent of $12.35 a month.

If the tax plan is approved on Monday, Administration will forward a Tax Tools Bylaw for consideration and final approval.
