Saskatoon Police Service makes two arrests in a historical homicide

September 15th, 2020 human remains were found at a home in the 400 block of Avenue G South. Saskatoon Police say 23-year-old Eagleson Thomas was the victim of a homicide. He was last confirmed to have been seen on August 14th of 2020 in Saskatoon and a missing person’s report was made a few weeks later.

Last Tuesday a 27-year-old woman was arrested by the Edmonton Police Service in Edmonton, Alberta on a warrant related to the homicide. She was transported to Saskatoon and was in court the next day charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.

On Thursday a 41-year-old man was arrested by the Prince Albert Police Service in Prince Albert on a warrant related to the death of Eagleson Thomas. He will be in Saskatoon Provincial court today charged with first-degree murder.
