Battlefords RCMP are investigating a Friday evening shooting that sent one man to hospital with serious injuries.
The call came in around 7:30 p.m. of a shooting on 107th Street in North Battleford. The injured man was located and taken to hospital.
Police say there was an altercation between the victim and a group of people at which time a firearm was discharged resulting in the injury.
The shooting is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Battlefords RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
