Maidstone RCMP and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist are investigating the cause of a serious single vehicle rollover Friday afternoon. Onion Lake RCMP were alerted by the Lloydminster Rescue Squad about an accident around 3 that afternoon on Highway 17, about 13 kilometres south of Onion Lake. The SUV was in the ditch and all four people in the vehicle were injured.
A child under ten was transported to hospital with serious injuries, while a 45-year-old woman who had been driving the SUV, a 51-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl were also transported to hospital with injuries. They were all from the Onion Lake Detachment area.
