Shooting in Saskatoon just before midnight New Year’s Eve

Saskatoon Police say a 20-year-old man is recovering from his injuries after being shot while attending to a home in the 100 block of Avenue V South. Just before midnight on New Year’s Eve, officers responded to an injured person at an apartment in the 100 block of Avenue W South. Police explain that he made his way there after he reported being at the door of the home on Avenue V where he was shot.

He was transported to hospital with what is believed to be a serious but non-fatal injury. The The Saskatoon Police Serious Assault Unit is investigating. If you have any information, you can contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
