There were $189,000 in SaskTel TelCare donations awarded to 47 charities in every corner of the province in 2024.
TelCare is a volunteer organization of SaskTel employees who contribute donations through an automatic payroll deduction. SaskTel donates 50 cents for each dollar contributed by employees through TelCare.
In a news release, Charlene Gavel, SaskTel President and CEO says, “We are thrilled to share that in 2024 SaskTel TelCare saw an increase from 2023 in both employee participation and total funds raised.”
There were nearly 600 SaskTel employees across nine districts in the province donating to the fund this past year.
The charitable organizations selected to receive support by the local TelCare memberships are:
