Police are investigating a stabbing which took place Sunday evening in Saskatoon.
Officers responded around 6:30 p.m. to an injured person report in the 2900 block of 8th Street East learning that a confrontation had occurred between two suspects and a group of people who had allegedly seen them stealing property from a nearby yard.
It was during the confrontation that a male victim suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound. He was taken to hospital by paramedics. The suspects had fled the area prior to police arriving and the matter remains under investigation.
