Prince Albert RCMP and the Crime Reduction Team arrested a man and two women charging them after a search warrant was executed on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation.
The search took place last Wednesday. Officers seized a sawed off shotgun, ammunition, a replica handgun, a spear gun, and what is suspected to be hydromorphone.
24 year old Shania Yooya, 27 year old Brennan Sanderson and 29 year old Shannon Sanderson face numerous weapons offences.
Prince Albert RCMP Crime Reduction Team, Prince Albert RCMP Detachment and Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team all took part in executing the search warrant.
Charges include:
– Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Firearm
Possess Prohibited Firearm with Ammo
Possess Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
Unsafe Storage of a Firearm
Possess Firearm with Tampered Serial Number
Possess Weapon Obtained by Crime
