E-scooter company Neuron Mobility is giving away up to $100,000 in free rides and rewards to riders who practice helmet safety in conjunction with Helmet Safety Awareness Week.
This year’s campaign is accompanied by the message: “Take the pledge: wear a helmet, snap a selfie, and ScootSafe.”
Until September 28th, riders are encouraged to use the promo code HELMETPLEDGE to receive freebies and discounts. Also, scooterists who take an in-app selfie wearing a helmet will earn up to 50 cents off each trip. If you’re spotted by a Neuron Safety Ambassador on your journey, you may be rewarded for wearing a helmet. Anyone who completes all three aspects of safety week will be entered into a draw to win $500.
Non-compliant riders spotted by Neuron Safety Ambassadors will receive a warning, and repeat offenders may be banned from using the scooters ever again. There is also a $50 fine for failing to return the helmet at the end of a trip.
