A 37-year-old man is charged with dangerous driving, impaired driving and evading police following a Wednesday mid-morning collision on University Bridge.
Saskatoon Police received numerous calls around 8:45am of a black vehicle driving erratically, in the wrong lanes of travel, and disobeying traffic signals.
A patrol officer attemped a traffic stop in the 900 block of 7th Avenue North but the driver fled at a high rate of speed.
Then around 9:30am, the black vehicle collided with a truck on University Bridge. There were traffic restrictions in both directions while the vehicles were removed. No serious injuries were reported.
